*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 01/10/2021
Kick off the holiday season with one of New York’s most beloved displays, the Museum’s Origami Holiday Tree! The theme of this year’s 13-foot tree, Cranes and Colors, draws inspiration from The Nature of Color special exhibition and features 1,000 brilliantly colored origami cranes that represent peace and good wishes in this challenging time. Produced in partnership with OrigamiUSA, the tree also has hundreds of other Museum-inspired paper models, hand-folded by local, national, and international origami artists.
