Caffe Lena has been a Saratoga treasure since 1960. Diverse programming sets the stage for musical discovery and is presented in an intimate listening room where your faith in the power of music will be renewed.
A History of Good Music
First opened in 1960, our roots are entwined with the social movements of that era. Emerging artists such as Bob Dylan, The Freedom Singers, Arlo Guthrie, Emmylou Harris and Don McLean played our stage, along with esteemed veterans such as Clarence Ashley, Mississippi John Hurt, Skip James and Pete Seeger.
An Intimate Venue
Slip back in time at Caffe Lena’s historic venue. The small, relaxed setting seats up to 110 attendees and allows music lovers to sit just steps away from world-class performers including Judy Collins, Bela Fleck, Sawyer Fredericks and more. At Caffe Lena, you’ll see every foot tap, finger strum, and arm movement of these talented performers. Caffe Lena is 100% handicap accessible and opens its arms to all music fans.
Never Skipping a Beat
Since the onset of COVID-19, Caffe Lena has had to close its doors to the public. But this change has not slown us down. We now offer nightly live streamed concerts recorded live from our listening room with state of the art production. The Caffe Lena School of Music offers a plethora of virtual music classes for children and adults alike.
