Painting Outdoors (Plein Air Painting )for Adults

Meets every Saturday @ 11:30am-1:30pm LIVE at our studio.
*** Students will meet at our studio before heading to our desired location with our materials.
Suitable for Adults 18+
Paint outdoors this summer on Brooklyn's waterfront with awe inspiring scenic views of Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridge. Spread out in a socially distanced art lesson and create beautiful landscapes & cityscapes or of nature in a few short weeks. Develop your confidence as you progress, the light changes fast outside so in this class you will learn to work fast as you capture these stunning vistas. We will begin the course with preliminary sketches before moving into final paintings in watercolor or acrylics. Return students are welcome, create a beautiful finished painting to hang proudly in your own home. This class is suitable for beginners or intermediate. If the weather is bad, we will work in the studio. Masks are still required outdoors as per NYC Guidelines.
Art Supplies

Easels, Paint & the use of brushes are supplied but NOT canvas.

Please purchase a canvas & bring with you to your first class. If you are a beginner, we suggest a medium size canvas to start.

Please note we do NOT supply speciality materials, pouring mediums or finishing glosses, if you require these materials please purchase & bring with you to class, or your instructor can advise.

Monthly Class courses begin at the start of each calendar week, meeting once a week for the duration of the month - Choose our discounted monthly Class PKG! Plus if you finished a course & want to sign up directly after, use our Continuing student discount for even more cool dealz! If you miss the first class of the month, you can always add another class, as long as you have completed 4 wks of the course you will get caught up.
Single day sign ups are also available for a taster experience in any given media.Please manage your expectations with single day sessions, as you might not finish your project in one session. Learning a craft takes time.

Prior registration is required. All students must sign our Class Waiver & Liability Form prior to arrival, this will automatically pop up when you register. This is mandatory during the current crisis
