Make Your Own Gnocchi

Come dive into the tradition of making little “pillow” dumplings of dough! In this class, students will have a chance to see two ways of creating gnocchi: with ricotta cheese and potato. Students are encouraged to cook along with the online demo so they can enjoy a homemade meal after class.

Owl Prowl at HHNM- LIMITED SPOTS FOR 1/30 still availalble

It might be cold outside but owls are heating up this time of year! Join Carl Heitmuller for a lesson of owl anatomy and natural history. Learn about these Ninjas of the night and how they use their amazing adaptations to be a top predator of the forest. We will meet one of our owl ambassadors, followed by a short hike to “call” for owls that use our nature trail as their home. You are welcome to bring a folding camp chair and flashlight.

SM&NC Winter Farm Market

We are excited to announce the addition of a Winter Farm Market in our Farmhouse parking lot! Many of our vendors from the fall will be returning along with some new friends. The Heckscher Farm tent will have all of your favorite maple syrup, SM&NC’s Heckscher Farm blend coffee, Arethusa products, and more.
