The Peekskill Museum

Peekskill Museum is a community supported cultural organization. Begun in 1946 with the acquisition of the former Herrick family home of 1878, this house-museum has been offering various exhibits and programs since 1976. The mission of the Museum is to collect, preserve, study, and interpret objects and documents pertaining to Peekskill and the surrounding areas. The Museum has authentic Revolutionary War artifacts, examples of Peekskill's cultural & industrial significance from Crayola, Fleischmann's, Wizard of Oz, and more.
