Alpengirl Camp
Alpengirl is a women-owned outdoor adventure company offering summer adventure trips for teen girls and mother-daughter outdoor adventures. Since 1997, Alpengirl has helped girls build confidence, independence, leadership skills, and meaningful friendships through immersive experiences in the outdoors.
Our teen adventure trips are designed for rising 6th–12th graders, with programs tailored to different ages and experience levels. Girls travel in small groups led by experienced female guides and spend their days exploring some of the most beautiful outdoor destinations in the Rocky Mountains, Pacific Northwest, Southwest, East Coast, and Europe. Depending on the trip, activities may include backpacking, horseback riding, llama packing, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and more.
Alpengirl also offers mother-daughter adventure trips for moms and daughters (rising 5th-11th grade) to experience the outdoors together. These trips provide a unique opportunity to unplug, try new activities, learn outdoor skills, and strengthen the mother-daughter bond through shared experiences. With programs ranging from backpacking and sea kayaking to other multi-adventure experiences, families can choose an adventure that fits their interests and comfort level.
What makes Alpengirl different is our focus on empowering girls and women through adventure. Our intentionally small groups create space for participants to challenge themselves, build genuine friendships, develop outdoor skills, and discover what they are capable of. Trips are led by trained, experienced female guides who prioritize safety while encouraging participants to step outside their comfort zones and take on new challenges.
