We feel it’s fair to say that we arrived in Connecticut with a bang. And in usual Fairway style, we are the pioneering retail establishment in an up-and-coming neighborhood – the Harbor Point area of Stamford. Our first store in Connecticut created a lot of positive buzz, so we knew it was the right place at the right time. This is only our second store opening outside of New York State, but we gave Fairfield County our largest by far – nearly 85,000 wonderful square feet of pure gastronomic joy. It truly is an amusement park of food.

 

Our Stamford store is the best of everything that Fairway has to offer, and then some. The fresh produce is worth the visit alone. Piled so high you can barely reach the top, you’ll find the largest selection of organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables you’ve ever seen. Over 600 artisanal cheeses, over 60 types of olives, a specialty import selection so vast, including Fairway’s exclusive imported barrel olive oils, it would take a lifetime to try everything, true New York style deli and appetizing, and you’ve only done one aisle! Turn the corner into the incredible aroma of Fairway’s premises roasted coffees – nearly 100 varieties! Stop at the Butcher Shop for custom-cut USDA Prime Beef dry-aged to perfection and our seafood counter for the best and the freshest the ocean has to offer. Our Natural and Organics department is a treasure trove for the health-conscious with everything from health and beauty aids to supplements to a wall of bulk grains. Choose from the slow-roasted meats and homemade sides at the Rosticceria, fresh custom-created chopped salads with over 30 ingredients, homemade soups, Ciao Bella Gelato, espresso and pastry bar, artisanal pizzas made to order, our full grill featuring panini, burgers and fries, and Philly Cheese Steaks, as well as a noodle and pasta bar prepared to order and fresh hand-rolled sushi. Is that not enough? Really? Turn around and feast on over 20 options from the hot and cold bar where selections change daily and are prepared in our own kitchen.
