New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks

Unroll your blankets and fill your picnic baskets because music under the summer sky is back! Since 1965, audiences have gathered with family and friends on the lawns of New York City parks to enjoy a beloved summer tradition: free music by starlight at the New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, Presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer. This year, Principal Cello Carter Brey performs Saint-Saëns’s thrilling Cello Concerto No. 1, in a program featuring American and French concert favorites conducted by Elim Chan. The celebration continues after every outdoor concert with dazzling fireworks displays lighting up the night sky!
