-FREE WITH TICKET (details at the bottom of the page) | Sponsor: Interstate LumberLawn opens to Ticket-holders at 5:30; Event starts at 6:30. Rain or Shine. The classic American pop-rock band ORLEANS will delight audiences with their Top 10 hits including “Dance with Me,” “Still the One” and “Love Takes Time”! Formed in Woodstock, NY in 1972, Orleans went on to perfect its recipe of eclectic material, from R&B seasoned with Cajun and second-line roots to their decade defining soft rock. Early on, Rolling Stone called Orleans “the best unrecorded band in America” – by 1975, they scored their first Top 40 hit with “Let There Be Music”. Co-founders Lance Hoppen and John Hall are joined by mainstays Lane Hoppen, Fly Amero and Charlie Morgan. Forty-two years in, Orleans has a new double CD release, "More Than You Can Handle." One disc recorded live, the other in the studio including three songs never before released by Orleans. Also just mixed and ready for release, a brand new song written by Fly, John and Lance. Clearly – they are still having fun and still the ones! Opening Night will celebrate the official dedication of the Epstein Stage in acknowledgement of the generous gift made by David & Geri Epstein to the Campaign for the New Levitt Pavilion. And of course, opening night launches the Levitt Pavilion’s signature Summer Season featuring 50 FREE NIGHTS of Music, Arts, and Entertainment under the stars! *Members receive priority access to a limited number of free tickets. Free tickets will be made available to the public via www.levittpavilion.com starting at noon on Tuesday, June 16. A limited number of tickets will be held in reserve and distributed through the office on a first-come first-serve basis beginning at noon on Wednesday, June 17.
