Puppetry Guild Day at Stepping Stones Museum for Children

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 04/27/2024
On April 27, we’re celebrating the art of puppetry with the Connecticut Puppetry Guild! Join us for a day packed with puppets featuring two special performances of Spinning Straw into Gold, an original fairytale created by Roland Duprey which tells the tale of a young woman tasked with turning worthless straw into shimmering gold for the King. Plus, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet the Connecticut Puppetry Guild, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year! Make an animal mask with guild board member Robin McCahill, learn more about our local puppetry community, meet a variety of puppet characters and take part in a springtime puppet parade through the museum.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
