Travel around the world in a whirlwind tour of musical gems. Tke a flight with the bumblebee from Russia to Scandinavia, listening to compositions by the likes of Rimsky-Korsakov, Brahms, Grieg, and Dvorak, stopping in Central Europe and visiting the iberian Peninsula with Spanish classics by Sarasate and others. The second half of the program is split between North and South America. Music by Gershwin, Joplin, Anderson, Gardel and Piazzolla rounds out the tour's musical highlights. "The ensemble of young string players sound fresh and energetic, and they respond to [conductor] Mr. Rachlevsky with and admirable flexibility." (The New York Times)
