Shoreline Explorers After Care (SEA Care) is a hands-on aftercare program for rising 1st through 5th graders, based at the Mamaroneck Marine Education Center. Each afternoon, children explore the incredible ecosystem right outside our door through engaging science activities, creative projects, outdoor exploration, and environmental discovery.
Participants will get up close with live marine animals, investigate the shoreline, complete nature scavenger hunts, record their observations in biology field notebooks, create ocean-inspired art, and enjoy hands-on STEM activities that spark curiosity. Every day offers something new, giving kids the chance to build confidence, make friends, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Program Details
- Dates: Monday-Thursday, June 29 - August 6, 2026 (You can sign up for one week or all!)
- Time: 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM
- Location: Mamaroneck Marine Education Center, 1 Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck, NY 10543
- Grades: Rising 1st-5th graders
- Cost: $75 per week for Mamaroneck residents / $100 per week for non-residents
