2021 marks St. Christopher’s 140th anniversary and since our founding, our mission has remained constant: To help children, youth and families succeed by providing them with the services and empowering them with the life skills they need to lead happy, healthy and meaningful lives. At our Residential Treatment Center, we use evidence-based, therapeutic approaches to help children and youth (ages 12-21) with social, emotional, and behavioral issues pursue their studies and passions, move beyond past traumas, and move forward with their lives. At our Jennie Clarkson Campus in North Castle, our animal and nature-based programs are having a very positive impact on the development, health and well-being of the youth in our care.
On Saturday, October 2, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., you are invited to experience the wonder of the human-animal-nature bond for yourself at St. Christopher's FREE Fall Festival. This day of fun and inspiration will feature: farm tours; nature trail walks; serenity sessions; a farmer's market; master gardener Q&A sessions; birds of prey and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation talks; our 140th birthday party and more! Plus great food, crafts and music, too!
Admission to this all-ages event is FREE, but we encourage you to reserve your tickets in advance at our event site: https://stchrisfreefallfest.eventbrite.com; walk-ins are also welcome. And to ensure a safe environment for all participants, we are adhering to the Westchester County Department of Health’s COVID-19 safety guidelines, including requiring vaccination and proof for ages 12 and older, and masking for ages 2 and above for admission.
