The Upper Hudson Maple Producers Association is made up of sugarhouses and maple producers across one of New York State’s premier maple-producing regions. Every spring, Association members host the popular Maple Open House Weekends, and we participate in other agricultural events and tours, including multiple county fairs, throughout the year that enable visitors to learn about how syrup and other maple products are made.

About The Upper Hudson Maple Producers Association

sugarhouseThe Upper Hudson Maple Producers Association is a trade organization representing over 60 maple producers, including sugaring operations ranging from less than 100 taps to over 10,000. We work together to raise consumer awareness of pure maple syrup made in the Upper Hudson Region – Columbia, Fulton, Hamilton, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Warren, and Washington counties.

Every spring, Association members host the popular Maple Open House Weekends, and we participate in other agricultural events and tours throughout the year that enable visitors to learn about how syrup and other maple products are made. A highlight of the year comes at the end of summer, when UHMPA members volunteer at the Association’s sugarhouse at the Washington County Fair to introduce fairgoers to the wonderful tastes of maple syrup and other maple products.
