World Otter Day at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo
Make a splash at the Zoo on World Otter Day. World Otter Day brings all otter species to our attention. It focuses on raising awareness about how important otters are and also highlights the threats they face. Threats faced by otters include the huge trade in these animals for pets and fur. Visit the Zoo and learn more about these playful and energetic animals.
