The Friends of Harmony Hall-Jacob Sloat House is hosting three wonderful bluegrass bands - Hudson Crossing, Blue Plate Special, and Serene Green for the 14th Annual Highlands Bluegrass Music & Craft Festival! The setting is the beautiful Ramapo River Valley on the Great Lawn of Jacob Sloat's 1848 mansion, Harmony Hall. This National Register of Historic Places Site in Sloatsburg, New York is close to Harriman and Sterling Forest State Parks in the scenic Ramapo Mountains. Food, beverage, and craft vendors! Kids can have fun playing instruments at the Bach 2 Rock tent. Visit the Hudson Valley Bluegrass Association tent for jamming sessions. Tours will be given of the mansion for a suggested $5 donation. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Event is rain or shine.
Advance sale ticket price is $15 for adults, $20 adults day of the event, $5 for kids 12-17, kids under 12 free. Advance sale tickets deadline is Saturday September 21, 6:00PM and can be purchased here: Advance Sale Tickets
Proceeds go toward restoration/preservation of the circa 1848 Harmony Hall -Jacob Sloat House mansion.
